Adrian Thompson
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Mr. Adrian Thompson is the Chief Executive Officer of the Credit Union Fund Management Company (CUFMC) a position he has held since January 2013. He was previously the Chief Financial Officer for the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League and prior to that held numerous positions at Capital and Credit Merchant Bank as well as Deloitte and Touche. Mr. Adrian Thompson is an experienced Chartered accountant with over 7 years auditing experience as well as 14 years senior management experience in the financial services industry. 

Mr. Thompson holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Manchester as well as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) designation.

Roxiana Tyrell (Mrs.)
GROUP CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Mrs. Roxiana Tyrell is presently the Group Chief Financial Officer. She joined the team in January 2017 with the responsibility of providing financial management and planning to the Credit Union League and its subsidiaries.  She has senior management experience spanning various positions within the media & communications and manufacturing industries. Mrs. Tyrell has over 20 years of experience in accounting and auditing and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She also holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Manchester. 

Maurice Wright
CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER

Maurice Wright is the Chief Investment Officer of the organization and as such is responsible for the management of the company’s investment portfolio and the managed portfolios of clients including pension funds. Mr. Wright has over 15 year’s financial services experience spanning various positions including Corporate Planner & Strategist, Product Development Manager and Manager of the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League’s Central Finance Facility (CFF). 

Mr. Wright holds a MBA from Nova Southeaster University and a B.Sc. from the University of the West Indies.

Marcia Osborne (Mrs.)
GROUP HRD & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Mrs. Marcia E. Osborne is currently employed as the Group HRD & Administration Manager at the Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League with responsibilities for planning, directing and overseeing all facets of the group human resources and administrative services functions.   She is a strategically focused human resource professional with over 20 years successful practice as an HR Generalist and also in specialist HR disciplines such as Industrial Relations, Compensation Management, Human Capital Planning, HR Policy Development, Key Talent Acquisition and Retention, Legal Compliance and Pension Fund Administration. Marcia possesses strong business acumen, is an incisive negotiator with demonstrated success working in dynamic and diverse cultural organizations where developing collaborative alliances and fostering strong stakeholder relationships are key components to achieving success.

Mrs. Osborne holds a Master of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Nova Southeastern University

Georgia Morrison (Mrs.)
MANAGER, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, CREDIT AND CLIENT RELATIONS

Mrs. Georgia Morrison is the Manager, Business Development, Credit and Client Relations of the company and is responsible for leading the company’s sales, marketing, and public relations activities. She also has overall responsibility for the management of the company’s loan portfolio.  Mrs. Morrison has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and has worked with the Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Limited for over 16 years where she held various management positions in the areas of Retail, Commercial and Corporate Banking.

Mrs. Morrison holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Arts Degree from the University of the West Indies, as well as a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of London.

Lavern Johnson (Mrs.)
PENSION ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Mrs. Lavern Johnson is the Benefits Manager and as such is responsible for the administration of the Pension Scheme for credit unions, managed by CUFMC.

Mrs. Johnson’s early experience in the area of pension administration began over twenty-five years ago with Life of Jamaica Ltd. (LOJ) where she also worked in Customer Service and the Group Life & Health Departments.  She was appointed one of two Pensions Managers at LOJ in 1997, managing a portfolio of approximately $6 billion in assets.

Angela Bisasor
INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER

Ms. Angela Bisasor is the Internal Audit Manager of the Company and is responsible for the Internal Audit function of the company. Ms. Bisasor has over 27 years of experience spanning the fields of accounting, finance, information systems, training / education, compliance, risk, external and internal auditing. She started her career at KPMG and has worked in a variety of businesses within the financial (banking, investment, credit union, insurance), manufacturing, tourism and service sectors. 

Antonia Smith (Miss)
RISK AND COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Miss Antonia Smith is currently employed as the Risk and Compliance Manager of the company and is responsible for driving the planning and execution of the enterprise-wide risk management (ERM) strategy and framework that effectively translates into informed decision-making practices that support CUFMC’s unique business model and strategic plan. Miss Smith manages risks relating to investment, credit, operations and is also responsible for writing, reviewing and implementing policies and procedures, while ensuring that various departments are complying with same.

Miss Smith has over seven years’ experience in the financial sector with vast knowledge in the areas of Financial Analysis, Investments, Risk Management and Research. She holds a Master’s of Science in Economics with a major in Finance and Game Theory as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics which she read for at the University of the West Indies.

Christopher Smith
BUSINESS OPERATIONS AND SUPPORT MANAGER

Mr. Christopher Smith is currently employed as the Manager, Business Operations and Support and is responsible for the formulation, development, implementation, and administration of the company’s policies and business goals.  In addition, Mr. Smith has direct oversight and responsibility for Pension Administration, Trade Settlement, Project Management and IT System Development to support CUFMC’s business model.

Mr. Smith has over 10 years of experience in the financial sector with knowledge in the areas of Financial Analysis, Treasury and Investments, Human Resource Management, Banking, Training and Development and Reporting. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Technology, a Diploma in Teaching and Training from City and Guilds London Institute and a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Services Management.
